Totally agree Tobester.

Those photos made me think the same. What a great day I wish I had been there.

Yeah, I posted a series of pictures... it was the last outing for the 35mm SLR camera (first time I'd used it in ages too). Glad you liked them... they are on my flickr account about page 8 or 9 I think.

My fav was this one... I had to half run along the bank to get in the right position for it

My favourite boat was the Great Michael which was manufactured in Eccose during the reign of the gallant James IV Stuart. I understand it was the greatest vessel of its day yet was never used in anger and rotted away in France.

Alan, ah wouldnae worry about that, try being inches from a 5000 watt pa system......

I've seen that wee blighter of a seaplane once before when it buzzed me on one of the loch lomond roads then came in to land in a nice wee spot.

There are more ships there today.

I saw them from the train but didn't get my camera out in time. They were berthed next to the Glagow Tower.

Re lists : I + at least 4 family members will be there both days ::): City Inn does good grub & accomodation BTW . The India Quay curry shop, diagonally across from City Inn and facing the Clyde Arc at the bottom of Finnieston St. serves a really good curry too. ,
