Sort of amazing to see it actually make a return to showing movies again.

I've parked at the door numerous times over the years, and such a thought never crossed my mind. Just used to look at the place as and think 'Pity, at least it's still standing'.

The film shows haven't been doing too well, sadly, with single figure attendances often the norm, which doesn't even cover the cost of licensing the DVDs for public screenings.

Last I heard, he had abandoned the midweek evening shows and was going to stick to weekend matinees.

Great shame indeed if this was to fail, but then I'd say that it maybe needed some better publicity and a less eclectic choice of films until it was established. Anyways, here's hoping things pick up with the more recent flicks he's been showing aimed at children.
