Also here's a plan of Crookston Castle the last Medieval Castle in Glasgow:-

I can't wait as no doubt I will be climbing the walls to get a day away from the family by that time. :D

I'd love to tag along guys as i'd be interested in the hidden caves but unfortunately I couldn't walk the distance so please enjoy and take plenty of photos to post on the forum.

I look forward to seeing them.

Sounds good to me.

Does everyone wear a red carnation in their left nostril, or similar?

No we all recognise each other by smell. Have you ever seen 2 dogs meet for the 1st time :P

It isn't hard to spot a bunch of people with cameras and tripods staring intently at bits of building etc.

Cheers

If you get to Crookston Station and anyone gets off the train not wearing a trackie, or that's carrying large cameras, then that's us :) .

(edit) I type far too slowly, obviously  .

Right after christmas, if all goes well. :) The only thing that could stop me now is the fact that I feel freezing cold even though I am in a warm room and my ears hurt... that can't be good... have to take good care of myself in the next few days!

I've only just come across this thread so I'd like to come along too [with my cheapo camera ].

2nd Jan also happens to be my 60th birthday so if we end up in a pub at some point the drinks are on me! Might even have my new bus pass already so I can travel up there for free.
