I wouldn't quite say they were boring, technically they contained a number of good design and construction ideas that were advanced for their time, and seem to have been forgotten today. But, I have to say I've never understood the devotion and enthusiasm some seem to have for them.

How can any interest be explained? One persons boring subject is fascinating to others, (Football.... the world's biggest bore ::): ). And it WOULD be boring if we all only liked the same things :wink:

The old Bridgeton bus garage, and the surrounding area (industrial, & ex-railway, etc), is pretty interesting, even if you don't want to see the buses.
