Come for a walk on Sunday 12 August, meeting at 11am at the main gates of the Botanic Gardens (corner of Great Western Road and Botanic Gardens; nearest subway Hillhead; plenty of buses along Great Western Road). We'll be walking along the banks of the River Kelvin, upstream to the Glasgow city boundary. Will include the canal aqueduct, Maryhill Locks, Garscube Estate, Dawsholm Park, other surprises. Lunch and or a pint to follow. Sorry about the short notice
