Get to Falkirk!

In honour of the 40th anniversary of the eponymous football team's legendary 2nd Division Championship-winning season of 1969-70, HG will be hitting the trail to Falkirk on Saturday 24th April 2010.

Break out those kipper ties, grow your hair long (where applicable), don your finest shades and join the HG hordes as they :

Gasp! In amazement at the birthplace of Barr's Irn Bru

Swoon! At the site of the Antonine Wall

Gape! At the campsite of Henry Hawley's troops prior to their gubbing by the Jacobites. And their getting their own back at Culloden

And perhaps have a wee peek at the soon-to-be replaced Falkirk Royal Infirmary, and the usual off-topic stuff.

Queen Street Station at 10:30 for the 10:45 train.

Aye me too - the only person I've met off here was Tobester and that was just down to coincidence, and he is a nice guy too.

I hate temptation that ends up in soreness. :D

I will be attending, but my leg is still a wee bit broken, so I will be slower than normal.
