Postby johnnyanglia » Tue Mar 02, 2010 9:49 pm

On the 21st of March the GFT will present the debut Scottish screening of "Anna May Wong Frosted Yellow Willows" a documentary film about the late silent/early talkie era cinema Icon Anna May Wong. Accompanying the film will be its Director Elaine Mae Woo who will host a Q&A session after the screening. This will be a rare unmissable treat for any cinema fan. Further details on the screening can be found at:

The link also includes a link to one of the Anna May Wong websites.
Anna May Wong brought her one woman show to the Glasgow Empire in 1934.

Sign me up, young man.

And well done, btw.

And that link from the GFT site doesn't work, in my browser, anyway.

Thank you for the enthusiastic reply Josef ! I recommend a good old cut and paste into the browser approach for access to the Anna May Wong website. It really is a cracker ! :D
