Jobsworths aside, a very enjoyable day out. Great company ; whether old hands turning out for the first time , or newly arrived folks. Not sure if it was more than 12 miles , but I do have some intimate chaffing to show for it

Wait till tomorrow folks till the cramping sets in. No trouble so far from the (surprisingly) young Mr Sam...

That says 11 miles so make your own mind up folks...

I do believe it's cawd a 'She-Wee' If I remember correctly, it was the sainted 'Dexter' who first brought the device to our collective attention. Glad too hear that the weather held, even gladder to see that fresh blood was on offer. I was sadly w**king, as per usual.........I begin to see a pattern developing..........Shirley not?

I would ask the fresh folk one question.............Is there ever a better way to pass a day than to spend one in the company of like minded HG'rs? Be honest, is it no the bee's knees?

it was a splendid day out. As usual, I did not take my camera out of my bag. I think we are relying on Vinegar Tom for the photographic record of the day.

And for once, it wasn't me that needed the loo.

Sorry I missed this, but struck down by the lurgy on Friday night. Did think about going to the end of my street to throw stones at you all as you passed. Couldn't even summon the energy for that ::):

Less than 2 minutes into the walk and we detoured to try to find a mural and an eighties night-club:

On to one of the less travelled parts of central Glasgow:

Then the Squiggly parts:

The site of the Cheapside fire off to the left, we didn’t find the monument:

Ferry site adjacent to Hydepark Street: it didn’t match up with the old OS map, the thinking was that this is probably more modern:
