More PJ outfits today. Saw two wee girls about 15 or so out in bottoms, leather jackets and pixie boots and the jammies were really bad.
One of the few people who looked alright in pyjamas was Dawn French in 'Vicar of Dibley' when she had to get married in a pair after a last minute hitch with wedding dress.

I have to say, Dawn French in pyjamas wouldn't be top of my fantasy list.
Or Dawn French in anything, come to that. I'm prepared to be persuaded about Jennifer Saunders, though.

The alternative to Dawn French in anything is Dawn French in nothing.
The lesser of two evils my friend, the lesser of two evils.

Eek. Fortunately, I haven't just eaten. I'll concentrate on Jennifer Saunders in nothing to take my mind off that notion.
Or there's always the sexiest smirk in history....

I really only meant that Dawn French looked a little bit more glamorous than the usual ones who look more like the chav types in 'Little Britain'. Perhaps it is not just the person wearing them but also the style and material. Maybe you need to have seen the episode to know what I mean.

If fashion dictates that pyjamas are the new jeans or something pretentious like that then people will be wearing them - fresh! What I object to is these people will have been wearing them all night

What! You'd rather they turned up naked??? Here in lovely Motherwell the local Asda has banned folk in PJs from the store.

One would hope that should they remove the pyjamas that they will then shower and thus put on suitable clothes for the day.

you've clearly never been to Motherwell where a minority of the population avoid showers and think suitable clothes for any occasions are shell suits. Never a good idea to stand beside them in supermarket queues.
