Here's his agent. Does he realise he's standing for a bunch of disillusioned ex Tories?
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Excellent. A circus just isn't the same without animals.

You wonder why the people of Springburn would want to vote for someone who isn't very bright and isn't very articulate. Then you remember they've done it for many years.

OMG that is awful, the thing is all those who glorified him will vote for him

Chuckled at the blank look that often crossed his face when asked questions.

Its a crazy world we live in, celebrity and politics, never the twian should meet, ever.

I don't mind Smeato having his hour of fame but there are many issues in the NE of Glasgow that the guy will have no idea about. I'd like to ask him how he plans to tackle the poverty and generational unemployment issue and if he thinks he can influence national politics to do something about it.

The obvious and rather predictable answer is:

He'll "Set aboot yehhhhhhh".

Smeato was on the STV news a few minutes ago, poor guy hadn't a clue to what to answer to Bernard Ponsonby's questions, really funny. ::): ::):

One answer was...."ehhh, I'll get back to you on that one". :D

Glasgow Airport Terror Alert

Postby Icecube » Fri Sep 25, 2009 9:53 pm

Smeaton might well be getting set up by this rather unknown 'Jury' mob but is he really any worse than the selectively hand picked candidates of the two main parties?
Two dudes who it would seem have never had a real job in their lives, and apart from that have never got anywhere near kicking an Arab's baws.

Smeato might well be an [albeit too innocnent] breath of fresh air against a couple of back room hand picked non-entities with dodgy credentials.

If he is in it for himself and not the people of NE Glasgow then yes he's just as bad, however if he has had a desire to help the people of NE Glasgow and used to be in the Socialist Workers Party (or something akin) then its understandable that he wants to use the opportunity. If he is being persuaded by agents who want to keep making money then that makes me sad because there are real problems for communities that need sorted. Finally, If smeato knows nothing about community issues and is the kind of guy who wouldn't know what to do if he got elected then thats the worse case scenario, its unfair on Glasgow people and he should be ashamed if that is the case and it's him who needs his haw maws kicked..
