Not easier, but more fun...

Never been to work pissed, but ceratinly attempted to fix a few folks computers while pissed. Usually get on OK, once I stop spinning around on their swivel chair.

I'll vote for that :D

I used to work in the Black & White plant on Stepps Rd (not as an employee). You had to watch out if the staff offered you a taste. None of your quarter gill short measures there. When they told you where to go and find it (of course it wasn't legit (or taxed)) you would find a full plastic cup from the vending machine. The rest of day was very pleasant.

Better still, the line I worked on was all for export and so much smoother than the domestic product. True or not I don't know, but the workers told me the stuff went for £70 (1980's) equivalent a bottle in South America, but I believe it as the bottle neck was fitted with a one way security valve so you couldn't pour anything into the bottle when it was open.

Yes and no,

Yes.
Some of George Best's work came about after a few haulfs before a match, same can be said for Gazza, Walter Smith on two occassions had Archie Knox take him up to the hospitality suite for a couple of nerve settlers.
On film, Richard Harris and Robert Shaw have both put in sterling perfomances whilst being totally mortal throught the shooting of their respective films.

No.
Oliver Reed on late night discussion shows, (in fact put this in the yes camp)
Oliver Reed on Wogan.

A little bit of what you fancy does you no harm!
Oh, the humanity!
