Am I the only one to find it strange that a certain news story is featured on-line in all Scottish papers today bar one? What story can be found in the London Evening Standard but not the self-styled "Scotland's Paper"?

Interesting piece from today's Guardian. Could any of this work in Glasgow?

Is there anyone out there who cares even less than I do about the trial of Oscar Pistorius? It got over ten minutes on PM last night.

Oscar.....who?

The first Irish state visit complete with Martin McGuinness invited chez Liz for tea should have been headline news anywhere. Not on the BBC. Ten minutes of Pistorius before any mention of anything of historical importance. I don't see what the relevance to us is, unless they're softening us up for broadcasts of trials here (though there's been no mention of it.) They did run a piece on Shrien Dewani's extradition to South Africa, but he's Bristolian and so of interest to the British public. I think the fatcat licence-rakers have some explainng to do.

bbc spent more time reporting the death of peaches than they did on tony benn.i do despair with them sometimes over their news coverage.

I didn't see any of the coverage of Geldof's death but I though that the BBC covered the recent death of Benn extensively, to the point that there were complaints about the cancellation of some programmes and rescheduling of others. (C/f Radio 4's Feedback 21/03/14)
