Me too FC, I've no interest whatsoever in bloody golf or Pistorious' trial and verdict.

Funnily enough, I watched my very first episode of that in roughly 40 years yesterday. It was alright.

I have no interest in her music whatsoever ( it was only last year that I found out that she wasn't actually singing "Wobbly, wobbly, wobbly a windey/Whee, oh it's me I can see/a Campari now"), but her rise to prominence and critical and public acclaim absolutely fascinates me. I can't discern a single reason for it other than her being, as I believe you young folks say in the modern vernacular, "quite fit".

Perhaps you should move this to the 'Would ye' thread?

Why does Homo Stultus insist on using a leaf-blower on a windy autumn day?

Walking through Kelvingrove, was asked for the time by a young couple. I said that it was 6.30 and asked hadn't they heard the University bells. They told me that they didn't know what they meant.
I thought everybody knew.

Is anyone else bothered about the abolition of the debts from a tax so hated that it led to widespread civil disobedience in Scotland, riots in England when it was introduced there and the eventual downfall of a Prime Minister?
