I work from home and my attic has been converted to an office. It was 28 in the room today and completely unusable.

I do have an air conditioner but it is so noisy I wear ear defenders when it is on. :D

I eventually had to give up and worked at the kitchen table which is at the back of the house and much cooler.

I am not complaining though as it is nice to have a bit of warmth and sunshine.

Yes I have lived in London and it higher temperatures are offset by the better quality and quantity of available bars.

I remember one day when the air conditioning in our computer room failed. It had 4 PDP's in it plus a good deal of comms equipment. The temperature hit 41C. That's a warm day in Delhi...

I've worked on building sites in temperatures of 30C+

You don't want to be roofing or manning a jack-hammer in this weather.

Still, it was slightly too warm today and I've just come back to a sweaty flat. Bleuch. :(

So you would have all melted earlier this year in Melbourne Australia, when we had three days in a row of over 43 degrees celcius?

28 here is a nice day...

It was extreme, and a record, but we often have days over 40 in Summer. I hate it, and I have lived here for all but five years of my life.

PDPs were crap. You needed a water cooled 168.

It's been 3 weeks since I saw a spot of rain. Nice, but this is Scotland and it just ain't right.
