Me too. I've never been to a Formula One event and given the prices and complaints about Silverstone, I don't feel I've missed anything. For Monaco, you need a friend with a balcony...
Better still, get yourself to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. You can get up close to the cars and watch them going up the hill-climb. There are cars of all ages and drivers of all ages. They stage it between Grands Prix and many of the current F1 drivers turn up to show of the latest hardware. Schumacher was too special, but Eddie Irvine was there in '96 and I watched him put the last of the V12 Ferraris up the hill. That screaming red bolide will haunt me 'til my dying day.
