Monument,

Are your parents from N.I. or did they move across from Scotland?
Just wondered how you came to be in Scotland if they are here.

Hope you have a good break.

Bridie,

Have you still got snow?

We had some heavy showers of hailstones today.
By the time I left house for work the pavements were covered in white.

Bridie,

Must have snowed here during the night and woke up to a winter wonderland.
Road looks a bit slushy though I haven't been out the gate and think it has melted a bit.
As long as we don't get any more I think we will manage.

Bridie,

Snow here yesterday though it didn't really last long before it started to melt.
Could see it on the hills from work and youngest son off again from school as it was quite bad in that part of Belfast.
Didn't see it for myself but just saw photo on school website.
He is back again today though and who knows what way things will be over weekend.

They did say it was Co. Down and Co. Antrim were the worst areas.

I had a call from BT two weeks ago from someone with a pronounced Norn Iron accent. Today I had a letter from someone with the same surname as a former first minister of that part of the world.

Is there a BT customer services department in the area?

BD,

If you try this link and go to the picture called Riverside Tower you will see the BT Building in Belfast which is beside the Hilton Hotel and close to the Waterfront Hall.

Oldest boy away to Odyssey Arena as there is a replay after hole in the ice episode at the Ice Hockey.
Wonder if Edinburgh will beat the Belfast Giants?

Will be glad to get off on Wednesday for the St. Patrick holiday though I might take Friday off on leave.
Hope to meet some girls I worked with in the past and we are going for a wee bit of lunch.
