I went last year with my youngest son and he bought some nice wood items from one of the craft stalls and I bought some chocolate cake. I buy cake especially for my eldest who comes home for Christmas and stays till term starts at University.

You are right in that some things can be bought cheaper elsewhere. I think it depends what you're after.
Some guys I work with were complaining last year about the price of the beer etc in drinks tent.

I think a lot of people just like the atmosphere as some of the stall holders are from various parts of Europe and beyond. It is held in grounds of City Hall and so is very easy for most people to get to.

Not sure anyone on here has been following the news in Belfast but we have had the heating row,
Marty (Deputy First Minister) has stepped down not to mention the row about funding of Irish Language & marching bands.

At least we can laugh at ourselves some of the time.

A Northern Ireland rugby fan is told they can't get Rugby Autumn Nations Cup available to Prime members as they are not
based in the UK.

I wonder if there are a few red faces now in Amazon?
