Me too.

It's not really very ……. apt of us, to ignore such an absence. I feel slightly ashamed actually.

Brigit is fine. The absence of posts by 'BrigitDoon' should not be taken to imply that there's anything unpleasant going on.

You'll probably have to take my word for it, I'm afraid.

Happy to Josef.

Please pass on my best wishes, should you be able.

I doubt the COPFS will be prosecuting many non-run of the mill cases any time soon. They may wish to retire to Bannerman's or Greyfriars Bobby's and lick their (self-inflicted) wounds. They may also decide to stop taking Kenny MacAskill's calls for a wee while.

I was wrong. It looks (according to the BBC) as if they're planning to tag religious aggravation onto the charges against the guys accused of sending a parcel bomb to Neil Lennon.

This should be interesting.

Maybe I was right after all. I believe the Crown Office has (quite sensibly in my view) decided to drop any religious/ sectarian aspect to the prosecution.

The judge in the Lennon case has directed that the accused should no longer face the conspiracy to murder charges.
I hear the people sing.
