Aye you're alright BrigitDoon, I (personally) will take your word for it. Hope you recover well, thats a particularly invasive op you just had.

I've had the surgeon's secretary give me some instructions. Now I've got to wait 'til Monday so I can call the GP.

There is NHS24

http://www.nhs24.com/content/

I'm sure your GP will be kicking about in an NHS branded car tonight collecting £80 an hour for the privilege of one of his punters calling him

NHS24 will ove it especially as it will break the manotony of the regular 'I fell a little flu-like' they are used to

Thanks Dave, but I'm not taking my new Mini to Arthur Daley.

I've had the Surgeon's PA advise me. They usually work privately and they're the best in the business.

I'm finding it difficult to get my humour going. It's like working your arse off and saving up for a brand new Aston, taking delivery, waiting at the lights the following week and then someone runs into the back of it. :(

Hi Brigit if you're not well you;re not well so you need to take health advice. I know it must be a real pisser to have a Ferrari sat on the drive but someone forgot to leave the keys. Your personal wellbeing comes first I hope I didn't offend you.

No, you didn't offend me, Dave, far from it. I appreciate that you're concerned enough to make a post.

Well Brigit I don't think Parry was expecting quite what you had in mind but thankfully modern medicine can correct the issues you suffered. This is very complex and this is something that folk need to know. I post only around your well being and maybe have a wee ripping of the pish if you're up to it ;)

Brigit, I've been reading on and off your progress and I just want to add my best wishes and congratulations on your progress thus far, long may it continue and all the best for the future :) Hope the immediate aftermath improves very soon but if it feels not-good get a second opinion just to be sure it goes no further.

All the best!

I sent an email to an old friend the other day to say I'd taken delivery of my "new Mini". I told her of the problem I'd had with it. She replied and it seems she's had something very similar in childbirth - both times.

Now that I've joined the Mini Owner's Club, other Mini owners can't wait to tell me about theirs :)

They all rust in the same places it seems.

Thanks Doorstop.

I think it was the larger dilator that did it. It felt quite painful last week, but became a lot easier at the weekend. Trouble is, there's so much discomfort and nerves pinging and twanging that a stitch coming loose isn't going to notice.

I've had a look with a hand mirror and it looks most plausible. I'd complained to the surgeon's PA and she said to use more lubricant. I wasn't convinced but went ahead anyway.

I'm feeling annoyed with myself for not trusting my own judgement. It rarely lets me down.

That larger dilator... If a lad pulled something that size out of his pants, I'd run a mile.

I know what a decent size willy looks like and this is taking the rip. :(
