100 DAYS IN
I will probably be shot down quickly but there is something about Barack Obama I do like, like most politicians the stuff he says that is planned is shit, but I did watch his wee gathering Turkey. I've seen a few occasions where he looks like he can handle himself, certainly George Bush was washed up within a day or so.
I might not be a fan of the party but I am still a fan of the man so lets see how the shit hits the fan.

The prime minister of Australia is Julia Gillard, an atheist single woman.
Australia has a Universal NHS style health care system.
No Death penalty.
Free contraception.
Openly Gay politicians.
Openly Gay members of the judiciary.
Transgender people have equal rights and are seen, rightfully so, as 'normal' .. whatever 'normal' means?
Compulsory voting.
No guns.
Evolution is taught in ALL schools - creationism is left in the dunderheid bucket.
