Like to think I'm more broad minded than some with my folks coming from Glasgow.

You wouldn't believe some of the stuff goes on over here.
It does take you to have a sense of humour at times but just a pity so many people on both sides can't move on from past.

Lucky Poet,

I think you should be answering onyirtodd's questions not me.

I too knew someone who was into Crowley stuff and I was working in the University bookshop at the time.
It was an ex boyfriend and he gave me list of books he wanted me to order as I got discount of a third off.
Man working in religious section of shop said he would order them for me but made his disapproval known.
Eventually managed to dump the guy after a few unsuccessful attempts as he was making little or no attempt
at getting job.

Back to question of replacement for David Tennant.

What about Jonathan Rhys-Meyers?

If it is, can I get an autograph? ::):

My devilish pal was christened Church of Scotland, so aye Oor Davey's dad is/was a minister.
(I'm not at all surprised at the guy's reaction to Crowley, Dot. The self-promoting old git'd be delighted to hear he was still successfully putting the wind up overly-religious types after all these years...)

I remember when John Pertwee passed away, Private Eye had the usual tribute by E.J.Thribb:

So farewell then, John Pertwee.
Who he?
He Who.

On Now. :D

BBC

Dr New - is this the next Doctor?

Doctor Who fans will be looking forward to this year's Christmas special, not least because actor David Tennant is about to leave and viewers are keen to find out who will replace him.

The story is called 'The Next Doctor' but neither writer Russell T Davies, nor actress Dervla Kirwan, would confirm whether or not the new Doctor is actually revealed in the show.
