I have a Vodafone Dongle, which I used to use on a laptop running XP.
I've tried to use it on my new laptop using 7 and whilst the softwear loads ok (version 9.3) it refuses to find the device. The device is clearly active, as the signallight flashes.
I also run XP in virtual mode, within 7 and have tried to operate it from there with no result.
Any ideas?

v9.3 of the software is pretty old. Go to the Vodafone support website and get v10 (the latest I think is v10.1.108). That works with Windows 7

Sounds like you have a virus that's picked up the password that's stored on your system somewhere and passed it to whoever has then hacked your email account.

Run a virus scan and remove any passwords that allow things to log in automatically.

I wondered if anyone could recommend a good intermediate online Excel course. More advanced than "This is a cell...this is how you add up lots of cells" :D

Aaargh!

Photoshop has started opening images all inside the one window on tabs making me separate them manually to work on them.

And can I find where to switch it back?

Can I buggery.

Any pointers, anyone?

I'm having connection problems with Firefox, I can access the net with IE but Firefox says:
The proxy server is refusing connections
Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.
Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.
Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
working.

I may have the Win32/spybot.B worm though no scans are picking it up.

Help!

Use IE to download a program called Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware .. the free version is fine.

Run that.

Then try FF.

Downloaded it, DS, but when I tried to run it I got this:
mbam.exe - Unable to locate component.

This application failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found.

Hmm? Most odd.

Try: Start, control panel, add or remove programs,
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, repair. (or change, update)

Failing thatuninstall Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then install this then try reinstalling Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
