Campervan storage - can anyone help?

Postby Monument » Fri Jul 04, 2008 8:43 pm

I am in the process of buying a campervan. I plan to use it regularly, but live on the Gallowgate, so there is nowhere safe to put it when I am not using it.

I need to somewhere to store it, but I also don't have a car, so it needs to be somewhere I can reasonably get to by bus or train and bike.

I have done the usual internet searches and the best I found is a farm near Larkhall. Does anyone know of anything closer. I am willing to pay the going rate.

Cheers for any bright ideas.

Cool! What kind of campervan?????

My sister has just developed a campervan fixation and is fast reaching the "have to have one stage!"

I have no helpful parking solutions unfortunately :(

i am glad you are enthusiastic, as I thought we might make a wee trip :-) Let me know if you come up with any bright ideas on the storage though!

And it's a Hymer Camp 52. Not a classic, but very lovely and cosy.

Ouch! Shoe box, surely? What a way to put your foot in it, though...

...I'm trying to remember the old joke about a wagon and horses that would be appropriate here, but a campervan would serve just as well. I'll go away and look it out...
