I skipped through it and only stopped at the thread starters posts and it still took me nearly an hour. Great thread but, wish I could find something like that in my back garden but all I have is a bin shed.

Interesting stuff 8O
Sorry to be a grouch, but it could have done without all the daft posts. A few can be funny, but there's pages and pages of nothing.

What's the pay like ? :P
Sorry BT, I wasn't dissing the subject, just the amount of guff replies to a very interesting op.

I remember on one of the military forums a while back these Russian guys posted photos of their digs in the old WW2 battlefields out there, they dug up dozens of Nazi helmets, guns, even complete parachutes.

Dave, I had a read at this "Piston Heads Gassing Station." source and it reads like a thriller. Great stuff but... It has the appearance of a story which has been written to whet the appetite of those people who would dearly love to have owned such a piece of property on which a hidden Nazi bunker is alleged to have been located. If true, then it has a great deal of historical significance; if this is so, would we not have expected it to receive world-wide attention from renowned historians? Oh, I'm not saying it would have received the same attention as the alleged Hitler diaries did, but I'm sure it would have stirred up a fair bit of discussion. It really is a very interesting piece of work.
