I was gutted when I had to bin an old telly a couple of years ago, but no-one seems to need a 1970s black and white 'portable' these days.

I'll take it if it's going in the bin otherwise, but priority should go to anyone who wants it to watch telly on, rather than to dismantle it and play with the bits …

Can't you give it to a charity or freecycle? Seems a total waste just to put it out for rubbish. I don't need a tv, but I'm sure there's somewhere that would take it.

I vaguely 'member' someone saying they were looking for a wheelie bin. I'm trying to remove two out the garden.... a brown and a black one. Only moulded by East Ren once! They(East Ren) replaced them with two shiny new ones and after 18 months of asking to pick up the old bins i've decided to just give them away to a happy home.

Any takers on a postcard to the usual address!

40(forty) 16"X10" white bathrom tiles. Free to a good family! Plus a big tub of unopened(how good it is now I don't know) advesive/grout...and a wee poke of spacers. All a man needs for the wife to harrass him on a Sunday afternoon... no excuses..the tiling shit's there!

I have a couple of CD racks going spare if anyone wants them. They're a matching pair of a wooden slotted type on metal bases. They are double sided, with 60 slots on each side, so could hold up to 120 CDs each.

I'm in the east end and evening collection is pretty much the only convenient time for me I'm afraid, but I'm in most nights at the moment. Just let me know if you're interested, before I get back into the freecycle thing, or leave them out on the curb from where they would certainly disappear pretty quickly.

As predicted, the east end curbside recyclers were my saviour. I left the CD racks out there at about 9:30am this Sunday morning on my way out for a swim and they were gone by the time I returned at 11am. Problem solved. The poor council bulk uplift folks on Monday morning never even stood a chance.

+ volume/Dolby seperate + Tuner seperate.

It all fits in that grey case!
