Postby Mori » Mon Jul 09, 2007 7:00 pm

This topic i dont see anything after a wee search.

Where did you meet your partner, do you fight, did you ever have a love affair.who was your childhood sweetheart, are men and women realy at each others throats these days with the divorce rates goin sky high, were you ever jilted, did you two time.

Your love , romance, emotional experiences in this thread please.

I use Just Joan to vent my emotions, as I can't get tickets to Ricki Lake

You kicked it off. Or perhaps you just plan on being voyeuristic? (sp?)

I have never had an affair and never thought about looking for any other relationship outside my marriage.

Been happily married for 22 years with two great daughters.

I first met my wife at work. She was the first person I met when starting a new job and for about 3 months I was terrified of her. When she came to work in the same section as me we got on well and were always sharing stories about our lives.

We didn't get together until both of us had left the place we worked. For about 6 months we corresponded as I had moved away from Glasgow to work in Dumfries.

She came to live with me and we have been together eversince.

Like many other couples we have arguments but I would like to think that our relationship is strong enought to see us through.

May not be very exciting or full of the things you are looking for Mori but not all marriages are fragile.

Whats brought this on was a recent school reunion after 30 odd years.

Met an old school friend who i fancied madly but never let her know of my feelings towards her because she was popular and thought she would ever go out with me.
Turns out she felt the same about me and her freinds put a spanner in the works to prevent her going out with me.

We got talking at the reunion and it was amazing how alike we were.

She married a bully and was getting beat up and divoeced a few years ago.

The toils of Life eh ? :?

I went to Holland once after a relationship brokedown. Made a visit for the day to Amsterdam.

Didn't do anything to help the mood I was in. Maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind.
