View from the office window: a big crane building the biotowers, the bloody Boyd Orr Building, and a bunch of fume-hood extracts... very picturesque.

If I stand on the windowledge I used to be able to see a wee bit of nice hills between the buildings. Then they built the new medical building deliberately to block my view!

I used to work on the 5th floor of Tay House on Bath Street. I really wish I'd taken a picture from the window because it was a really great view towards Park Circus, the West End, Glasgow University and beyond that the Renfrew Hills (nice with snow on!)

I'll post a picture of the view from my flat later. It's a little less inspiring though.

View from my flat...

Postby gordonjcp » Sat May 22, 2004 5:59 pm

... is fscking *stunning*. 14th Floor of one of the Kingsway Court blocks. Unfortunately I'm kind of in the middle of it all - the view from one of the ones at the "sides" would be better. Still pretty amazing though.

Would post a picture but outside my window is Stilian Petrov's house and I'm not so sure he'd be all that chuffed about that!

Outside MY window?
A huge pile of polystyrene beads.

We just had new windows fitted, and when the old frames came out the cavity walls seemed to EMPTY!
The little buggers poured out for 5 minutes til we found something to stuff the gap with!

I went up to Ballachulish a few weeks ago - I'm sure it was a lovely part of the world - shame about the weather. It pissed down the whole weekend.
