Just something to get some of you thinking. I rescued this rather stange rebuilt apple II computer from the skip at work. I collect vintage computers and have done so for about 15 years, this has to be the strangest one I have ever obtained. It was bulit in 1979 by apple, but someone along the way has re-incased it into this housing. Only bawache is that they keyboard has gone :-(. There is a LPT1 port on the back but ive no idea of what to do with it. It does work and has 2 5and a quarter disk drives. If anyone has any ideas on how to get a keyboard working oin it or if you want to adopt it then let me know.

Great site :D The Amstrad CPC464 my first proper computer.

Tell a lie, I think this was my first, although I only had it about a week before we decided it was crap, and packed it up for a refund.

I got the CPC464 a couple of years after. It was a wee bit better, and came with a bunch of free games on tape.

There are sites where you can download old Sinclair ZX81 and Specturum games. I thought at first the download hadnt worked as it seemed too fast. Then I remembered you are only downloading about 45KB of data, miniscule by today's standards!!
