In the last few days have watched 'Don't Look Up' and 'Fracture'.

The second film has Anthony Hopkins and was made a while ago.

The Sting, on ITV4. Cracking stuff, can't remember the last time I saw it. :)
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

'John Adams', a HBO 7-part mini-series about one of the founding fathers of the USA. Found a DVD box-set when we were clearing out my departed f-in-law's flat last June. Still had the wrapping on it, never opened.
We've watched 4 so far, it's quite enthralling.

New series of "The Apprentice" started a couple of weeks ago.

There was an absolute belter in Thursday's episode. :)

The task was to design a toothbrush and an accompanying app to encourage kids into brushing their teeth more often.

So, at one the two teams have to go in front of a focus group of kids of the age group the product is aimed at - it goes about as well as you would expect.

"I think it's aimed more at younger people..." says one wee boy who looks like he's barely out of nappies.
Well played wee man, well played. :D

I have been reading stories that the Asian lady who is on 'The Apprentice' is quitting the procedure for health reasons.
Guess I will just have to watch next episode to see what's what.

Yeah, rheumatoid arthritis I think.

The series would've been filmed last summer. But it seems like some tabloid or other decided it would be "a story" after the preview tapes of this week's episode went out.

Had recorded 'Laura' on Talking Pictures.
Black and white film made in 1944 with memorable music.

Watching programme about Jay Blades from Repair Shop.
'Jay Blades: learning to read at 51' and he mentions being dyslexic but wasn't diagnosed till he was 31.

Have been watching the new drama 'Chloe' and thought I'd heard music at end of episode.
It was 'Paradise Circus' also played in 'Luther' by Massive Attack.
