Second & Third episodes of "Outlander" have made an appearance .. so these are, indeed, what I am watching.

I saw the first episode. It was ok but it was a bit, ahem, steamy, was it not?

PS - Great to see Gaelic being used without sub-titles.

Doctor Who, series 8, ep. 1, "Deep Breath".
Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

Image .. Image

Visually stunning. Absorbing characters, perfectly cast. Twisted and convoluted storyline portraying the actual dynamics behind the politics and general zeitgeist of the period in question.

I was completely hooked after the first episode, cannot recommend this highly enough.

The New Avengers, series 1, ep. 9, "Faces". On ITV4.

Is it wrong to admit that the sight of Joanna Lumley as Purdey dressed in a Sally Army uniform gave me the raging horn?

Sat down to watch the Liverpool game earlier only for my colour blindness to make it seem as if all twenty outfield players were in the same strip and were taking part in some bizarre run towards and away from the ball dance ritual. Kind of spoils the enjoyment.
