The worst thing about this 'flat' is that someone, somewhere will actually fork out money for it! It just amazes me that someone would. I know its in a fashionable and much sought after area but jings help ma boab.

Seriously, if any of you had that kind of cash and wouldn't miss it, would you buy it?

I imagine if you lived out in the sticks (and could afford it) it would make an excellent wee sleep over place, given the price of hotels.

Sleepover is right, barely enough room to fit a sleeping bag!

Juat think though, Gordon, if you could afford it, no more hotel bills for you and yours & it can only increase in value year after year.

Hmm, possibly. But it wouldn't be too suited to anything worthwhile, one wrong move, you chib yourself on a dado rail and its game over!

Was summit similar on homes under the hammer the other night, a couple of developers bought 2 "studio" flats for £180k without seeing them, they were just an old cupboard converted to a "flats" with a mezzanine sleeping area.

They must be stupid to spend that sorta money for a box.

I viewed a "flat" in Cathcart last night that was probably twice the size of that at best. It was an absolute pit as expected but the size really surprised me, and not in a good way. Offers over 45 grand.

Almost makes £175K for a shoebox in Chelsea seem like good value.

As part of an interesting HG experiment, you could all give me £1 a week and I could get a fancy flat in London.

You'd be in more comfortable surroundings if it was £10 a week each. Don't sell yourself short by any means, especially when somebody else is picking up the tab

Hmm. 1800 users, £10 a week each. Roughly £6 million per year. We could buy a fair wee HG holiday pad for that 8) .
[edit] Aye, alright, divide that by seven :)

OK, so it's agreed then. You will all give me £2 a week. It's very economical. £2 a week is only 8 pence a day.
