Also some people sell privately via classified adverts in local papers.

Anyone who's used Bonanza before? I was reading about it over here https://www.1and1.co.uk/digitalguide/on ... ould-know/. It sounds pretty good. No costs unless something sells. Plus, it syncs with eBay so items that sell on one will be ended on the other. Girls, I thought I would share this because it's a no-brainer to use it if you already have your listings on eBay!

I have a wedding to go to in November so hope I might pick up something in the sales before then.
I'd like to get something I'll wear again so it will either have to be a nice dress or maybe a trouser suit.

I want something that will be warm enough to stand around outside in but don't want to look like an Artic explorer.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.

All the weddings I've been to in last few years have been summer ones where you could wear a sleeveless dress and a jacket.
Last one I went to I had sheer tights but it was so hot I took them off when I got to reception.
I had smart sandals though not a great success when you're standing on grass and your heels sink into the soil.

Maybe everyone has already heard about this but for those who haven't here goes.

Cancer Research UK on Byres Road are selling brand new items with tickets from 10th September for two weeks.

I was reading about this this morning on my way to work and just thought it might be of interest.

Walking through the House of Fraser today on my way to train station I saw a sign up in beauty department.
It said 'Eyebrows are sisters not twins'.
Can't say I have seen or heard this phrase before.

Yesterday I was on a days leave from work so got my hair done at my friends house.
She is a mobile hairdresser who goes out to some clients but I normally go to her.
I much prefer it than going to an actual shop as we always have a good chat.
She always makes me a nice cup of tea and usually has lovely biscuits or cake.
Best of all is that she is quite flexible so not difficult to get appointment and more reasonable prices than you'd pay elsewhere.

On my way home from her house I stopped at a wee boutique I hadn't been in for some time.
They sell new, nearly new and end of line clothing.
Picked up a coat that had been £175.00 and was now £48.00.
Labels still on it so never worn.

Happy Days.

I remember when I used to go to a barbers to get my hair done and now my hair is gone and I never get bargains, I read about them on here and other parts of the internet.

I do have a set of combs available to anyone who wants to make a decent offer.... ::): ::): ::):

Delmont,

Think of the savings on shampoo and hair gel.
Maybe time to try Hot UK Deals ::):

I'm thinking about getting a keratin treatment and decided to do my homework. I've searched a lot of websites about it and stumbled upon this article about keratin and now I'm confused. Does it mean I can do keratin treatment at home? Any thoughts?

Any chance they will do it in September 2019? Thanks.

Beth,

I honestly don't know the answer to this one.
Maybe you could try calling in at the store if you are passing.

Perhaps someone else on HG can help.

I was at a shop yesterday that sells ladies clothes and shoes etc.
They had all the autumn stock in but at back of shop they had some summer stuff in a little room.
I spotted a dress I'd seen several weeks ago and was only one in that style.

Lady said she would reduce it by £2.00 if I paid cash which I didn't think was all that impressive.
I asked her to hold it at counter while I continued to browse.
I think she started to get a bit desperate to make a sale so she then agreed she'd drop it by £5.00.
Still think she could have come down a bit more but I bought it.

I help out every year at a fundraising event which was cancelled this year due to Covid 19.
Over a period of time I would gather items which would be popular on the stall I help on.
I now have quite a lot of toiletries and candles which I'm starting to use myself.

I did donate some stuff to the food bank who accept toiletries as well.

I'm working my way through the candles.
I might keep some for Christmas gifts and now have quite a lot of points at Boots.

It's another wet day here but I'm sitting with cosy feet in my Skechers which my hubby bought at good price in online sale.
Anyone had any online bargains in recent times or ordered anything in Black Friday deals?

Henrysix,

Hubby checks out Hot UK Deals from time to time and this is where he got my trainers from Zalando.

https://www.hotukdeals.com/search?q=skechers

My deal is on this page but there are other Skechers for men and women and mine were free delivery.
