Worse Ever TV Programmes

Postby escotregen » Wed Oct 25, 2006 6:40 pm

The new Penguin TV Companion lists the ‘Worst TV Programmes seen on British TV’.
I’d like to know what was wrong with the Borgias – great, manky stuff it was. I haven’t heard of some of the programmes on the list; 'About the Home' was a sensible, practicable guide to being a good housewife, seemingly:

2000s
Shafted (2001)
Celeb (2002)
Celebrity Wrestling (2005)

1990s
Cop Rock (1991)
Brighton Belles (1993-4)
A Year in Provence (1993)

1980s
Bottle Boys (1984-5)
The Borgias (1981)
Top of the World (1982)

1970s
Mind Your Language (1977-9; 1986)
3-2-1 (1978-87)
Come Back Mrs Noah (1978)

1960s
My Mother the Car (1965)
Junior Showtime (1969-74)
Curry and Chips (1969)

1950s
About the Home (1951-8)
The Adventures of Long John Silver (1957)
The White Heather Club (1958-68)

What was "Cop Rock" ? :?

That awaful shite "Specials" belongs on that list.
Not since the early Juilet Bravo's (the later episodes were crap) has the BBC made a decent cop show.
