Free Dental Treatment Glasgow

Postby dentist2001 » Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:01 pm

Hi.

Im a student @ The Glasgow Dental Hospital &
School School and am looking for patients (as
our NHS list is running low)

If you would like TOTALLY FREE DENTAL
TREATMENT email me at
[email protected]

whats the catch? well it just takes longer as
we have to have each part of the treatment
checked in the student clinic.

Thanks

Bye

I would like free dental treatment, but I phoned the hospital few months ago offering myself as a guinea pig and was told that I would only be seen if it was an emergency.

Is a filling that was done previously at the Dental Hospital and has now fallen out leaving a big hole (no pain...just a hole) not an emergency? :?

Did anyone else think of the "Marathon Man" when they saw the first post?

I see iv triggered a bit of a discussion here, ah well atleast the forum is benefiting.

To answer all:

McShad > Any conservative work e.g. fillings, veneers, crowns etc

Glasgowken > I don’t know of any wooden teeth with springs, sorry. As for cosmetic work, depends ‘how cosmetic’ e.g. minimal or excessive irremovable staining … would have to have a look

Flash Andy > If you go via the hospital, they will put you through a gruelling process, screening etc WE reserve the right to treat our own patients. So its quicker and easier.

Azrael > yes, it is safe. Every stage is monitored via supervising clinicians. And sometimes you will receive better treatment than your GDP, as we are not in the money making business i.e. get patients quickly in and out with cheap and nasty materials.

Sorry for the briefness, I will not have the time to keep checking forums and replying so please, all requests and queries to my email from now on:

I'd like to say that it's thanks to the Dental hospital in Glasgow that I've got any teeth left. :D

I had a really bad car accident as a teenager (head first into a greengrocer's window - how uncool!) and had a lotof broken teeth which have all been saved by good careful dentistry done thirty-odd years ago at the dental school.

Thanks !
