Missed your birthday, Banjo old fruit .. I was awol. Sorry about that .. hope you had a belter and are only just recovering. ;)

In other news, Che Allan:

Apparently, Number 1 daughter arrived for her new job interview today, carried out the arty tasks asked of her, showed her skills on the digital art side and left with the obligatory "We'll let you know".

As she got home the phone rang and she was told she's ideal for the job {airbrush and web graphics artist for Silk Blooms, the UK's leading high quality silk flower and bridal bouquet manufacturer).

She starts right away, full time (40 hour week), above minimum wage for her probationary period, with regular performance based increases afterward.

Sooooo happy for my talented and wonderful sprout!

Finally, a job doing what she loves best - being creative and making beautiful things.

My lassie introduced me to both sushi and wasabi in the wee sushi bar, Ichiban, in Queen Street.

Bloody tasty it is .. and I love wasabi. Braw.

We were *that* close to going to Ichiban this evening - Herself opted for Italian at the Capo Landa instead. (She does like sushi though!)

She was paying, mind, which may have had something to do with it! :)
