I've seen lots of malnourished (male) neds with no top on... yuck. There were heaps in the Kelvingrove Park at the weekend, wish I'd had a camera with me to share the sight with you all!

Don't bother with Met office online auto generated regional forecasts they suck big time!

It's going be warm again nextweek according to my Hi-tech Shrivelled up Seaweed and Open Acorn weather predictor although not as hot as it has been this week.

Don't put the sun cream away just yet! 8)

I'm in Aberdeen at the moment and it's absolutely scorching!

I went climbing last week near Tyndrum and climbing lower slopes were absolute murder because it was so hot but when I got to the top it was absolutely baltic at the summit. I only stayed on the summit for about five minutes because it was so cold!

Then when I came off the mountain again I wished I stayed up there because if anything it was even warmer than when I went up!

The only time I was comfortable all day was about at the 700m mark!

SOCKS!!! Why don't they come off?

Surely a wee bit of air round your feet and the added bonus of a non sock line would be loved on a day like today, nope!

Aye right, and get an ear bashing from the kids because your not wearing the ones they bought you for your Xmas/birthday.
Non sock line - now there's a new phrase :? Similar to a VPL?

KonstantinL had a similar experience in Glencoe mid 90's. Was
that bad, had to lie in the burn for 30 mins after the descent.

If I plan to go walking it's either march to may or
september to october.

Onto the matter of socks?!! 8O

I'm more worried about the giant textbook, looks like Java 2
Widgets for SOCKS :wink: ::):

Never wear socks myself if the weather is hot, but never walk
about without wearing a t-shirt mind.
