Bourbons. Any idea where you can buy the proper ones, is it by Burton? Tesco and Morrisons up here dont have them. I used to get a wee pack of 3 in the vending machine when I worked in Debenhams that were the "real" ones. Toffeepops are quite good too for remembering when I was wee!

They're amazing! 18 pence a pack Asda Smart Price is good enough for me though. I also like McVities Gold. Oh and I wouldn't say no to a Viscount either.

The guy who taught me photography at the Hunterian Museum was obsessed by the advert for "United" biccies ('member them?). He'd constantly sing "We're all delighted."

(Pinteresque pause)

"Tae eat United!"

I was recently offered a "Blue Ribband", and couldn't belive how much they had shrunk.

I used to love Jacob's whole range, especially the Orange ones. The trick was to nibble off all the chocolate then eat the biscuit and orange cream sandwich. Age seems to have robbed me of my sweet tooth though.

Oatcakes with a bit of cottage cheese or a slice of Red Leicester. Canny be whacked by any of your new-fangled biscuits. And a high fibre biscuit to boot which is has to be good news on the cludgie front.

If you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit....

orange clubs for me too - and had to be eaten just as you've described!

Been recently re introduced to McVities Gold and mmm quite like them too.

Happy Faces, but I think they've stopped making them so the creamy jammy ones out of Ikea have to suffice now.
