Has anyone seen their own Doppelganger?

I had a very surreal experience of seeing my exact double on Buchanan street many years ago.

I could feel my brain hurt as it tried to work out how i could be on the other side of the street. the girl was even dressed similarly!

Another dopplegangerish experience was had about 3 years ago as I smilerd to see a girl who reminded me of me about 10 years ago. What was more of a suprise was to see she was arm in arm with my ex!!!!!

Sorry to hear that :(

One of my best friends has come face to face at a party
years back by sheer chance with his double, it was very
scarey. I used to look like a singer from an american
metal band, but I think I look somewhat different every
10 years or so.

Sharon, I think the strangest one, is that your double
have the same mannerisms. My friend and this other
character at the party, had the same mannerisms, I
was totally freaked out.

From my own experience, the singer asked me if
I wanted to have a shot at a song. Can't sing
to save myself mind 8O

My mother met my doppelganger and was about to berate "me" for not recognising her when she noticed the children he was with were not her grandchildren.

I don't know if this was the same guy who was grabbed by behind at a club by my then girl friend who reminded him "I thought you were staying in tonight?"

I have been told Jody Foster looks like me :D

There was a boy I liked in school, and then I came across one who looked exactly like him whilst on a trainride in the US, half the world away. They were not related at all but the resemblance was uncanny.

I have also said hello to someone at a pub I thought I knew... but then the alcohol helped that one ::): Embarrassing none the less.

Ive recently been compared to: Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Graeme Souness, Frank Zappa and Antonio Banderas! 8O

In Aberdeen, for some reason, everybody looks like everybody else. You can see multiple people, all who look like someone you know just by walking down Union Street...
