Bummer, life will be so duller without a gyrating
Rachel Stevens on the box.

Think about it though. Now you can sit watching programmes about how to make as-much-money-as-you-possibly-can-from-real-estate all day long! Or maybe making money from antiques. Hey lets just watch Working Lunch, wait thats about making money too, isnt it!!! Oh the wonders of the British disease... ::):

Top of The Pops was an institution. Unfortunately the BBC don't have any great DJ's who could anchor the show.

Instead of moving it to a Sunday they should have moved with the time and change the format to suit todays market ( Sorry Vlad i know this may appear to be about money).

I stopped watching a few years ago but even if I was between 16 - 25 I still wouldn't watch in now. My two daughter's always watched it a few years back but now event they have given up on it.

I don't think they should scrap it they should have a go at completely changing the format. After all, as Vlad points out what else would there be to watch.

Id like to leave my career at work. Making money is essential, but selling houses and antiques is not a career I especially care about... The UK culture is one of making money, thats all it is... That and getting pissed as much as possible!

Im here to moan and criticise, its something that is needed Im afraid!

I think young people have changed - and maybe it's for the better. When I was 13/14, TOTP, Tom Brown's top 30 and being able to recite the entire chart was a requirement. don't think either of my two teenagers could name half a dozen songs in the charts between them. They are much more into smaller indie bands rather than the manufactured pop I "liked".

But to me all their stuff sounds the same.....Gosh - did I say that out loud?! Must be getting old

Ya kidding... ::): No I was on about Jims DJ skills.

I dont understand why the beeb didn't use these characters
to present the show, even though it's ripping the piss.
