Be it a tv or film prop, an old sign which once sat in a well known location, a rare signed book or photie, Rabbie Burns false teeth, whatever...

(I know this is a duff thread subject :( i'm very sorry)

My only claim to fame is that I have a book that used to belong to the Duke of Windsor.

Optics out of an armoured tank. Used to belong to my Grandfather.
I don't know where my old tank shell cases went though :(

A clay bottle of tennents that was dredged up from in a river in Guyana.

I've also have a presentation £1 encased in perspex from the Royal Bank of Scotland to commemorate the opening of the Scottish Parliament.

That explains alot... I went on the hunt for one while ping ponging along the street returning from a rather good night out... ended up with a twirl for some unknown reason.

As for rare items, I have the last bottle in known existence of Bonkers Champagne and 1 of 3 signed posted from Alice Deejays performance in Bonkers.

Reminds me of a time, helping a friend decorate. We found a
Marathon bar, from the previous tenant's decoration days.
Worst of all he scoffed it, and the sell-by date was way
scary 8O

I used to know someone who owned a police helmet from that awful "Mersey Beat" cop show. Not much of a claim to fame.

The most unusual thing I own is a signal indicator box from and an old Glasgow Subway station, don't know which one though :-( It takes 2 men to lift it.
