To go with your fishfingers ? Mmmm!

God. I've never eaten a fish finger since I was about 10,
after being informed that it was all the crap cuts that
went into them.

Cheers Pgcc93 for the reminder. I've got a packet of smoked
salmon that's due up for it's sell by date in the fridge.

Strange how "Suger" got translated to "Sugar" at the touch of a quote button
Looking at your Pic, I see one guy in the shop, brandishing a brick to make sure he gets his crystallized white powder, probably because the "Ladies" were being offered as much as they wanted. Also, note the two we lassies guzzling up the sweet stuff through a straw.

Its definitely Allinsons Sunflower Maltgrain - much tastier than all the other 'healthy' breads out there, and yummy for toast!

The only thing I want on my favourite bread once it's toasted is a couple of big slices of Baxter's beetroot.

Sharon, nothing wrong with being unconventional. Though I must
agree Beetroot is good gear, but on toast, arghhh... shudder..... 8O

What is the most unconvential food combination, that you
have tried yourself ? Before I leave this posting, I'll admit
mine.... Lemon curd on toast, must be white bread mind :P

P.S. Worst I've seen (rather smelled) was travelling by train
and this individual was eating sardines and chopped egg out
a plastic tuppaware box. The slurping noises were unbearable
and I didn't have my mp3 player with me at the time :x I nearly
puked... 8O

I like bread (and toast) with nothing on it at all. Does that count? :?

Warm beetroot? I prefer beetroot on untoasted bread with cold meat, yum.
