New Year. New Interests

Postby Bex Bissell » Thu Dec 22, 2005 10:18 am

They have become as much a part of the Christmas tradition along with the likes of turkey, Santa, crippling debt, fights over parking spaces, christ even Jesus has got in on the act but what better way to really finish things off than by subscribing to a Del Prado publication.

If you pay very close attention to the telly from the 1st of January onwards then you may spot one of their constantly repetative adverts.

Whether you choose to collect Napoleonic plastic figures, clothes peg dolls or decide that the thing really missing from your life is basket weaving then only Del Prado can help you fulfill these dreams.
With an enticing introductory offer of £4.99* and your first piece of straw then in 2143 months time you will have made yourself a lovely waste paper basket.
*Normal RRP £8.98

I myself have decided upon taking up a traditional summer hobby that is country lane clogging.

By issue 53 I will know how to expertly bring a hault to both carriage ways of the M74 on a hot and sticky Fair Friday, cant wait.

What will you choose to take up?

The picture gallery is fascinating. Did you see Jurgen Burkhardt from Germany? Fucking unreal. Many many moons ago I had an uncle who grew a handlebar moustache. He would rub some sort of pomade on it to make each end stick out horizontally. He took snuff as well [up his nostrils that is, not on the moustache]. Weird.

Talking moustaches...

This is a pic of my boyfriend (on the left  ) and our wee sausage dog with a wild boar's tail in his mouth which looks like a moustache...

Going on first glances at the link I thought this was going to be a religion dedicated to the worship and praise of the Vengaboys.

btw..I'm sure AllyDoll is heading this secular movement, theres a recent link "Thank God For That" where she has been trying to court would be converts, not very pushy though, unlike thoughs bloody Krishnas.

Ok, I admit I mentioned the website... but the religion is a load of hokum (and they won't let me take up any kind of leadership role)
