I was amazed to find out that this stuff is still manufactured. I was directed to the page below by a colleague, the "review" is funny, under the heading "Izal Toilet Paper - SCREAMING AGONY on a roll". The poor guy's experience happened in "a public restroom in a restaurant in Glasgow" in August this year, so beware this stuff is out there and close at hand

Unbelievable. I can only think of coming across this as a kid, and even then wondering if some twisted individual had swapped the bog roll for a roll of greaseproof paper, it didn't seem to be much different from it.

Somebody should take it to the European Court of Human Rights, or send it all to the Americans in Guantanamo.

Bad as it is, I don't fancy the result if you were to follow the advice of one poster and scrunch it up. Sounds like the recipe for a handful of gravel or the like.

i had a similar experience in my work loo , went in to do my bit then find out that there was no bog roll ,just a pile of blue kimberly clark had towels
