Ermm. no offence Lordleek, but isn't this thread a wee bit of a cheek... or is it meant a pure funny? Reason I ask is that I was taken aback recently with the remarks of one poster who seemed to be unaware that our mods do the job voluntary and for free. I'm sure you did mean it funny.

Without the mods, (after founder Sharon and her partner) we would have no board. If you doubt this, just reflect on some of the odds and sods who have had to be removed albeit with great reluctance. I admit I just don't have the time, energy, skill or above all patience to be a mod... so thank you mods one and all .

In fact I suggest it's a case of what can we do better to help reduce the need for 'mod management'. Possibly, a few individuals could resist the urge to feel they must post on every single topic, when often all they do is take it way off topic . Tangental threads can be interesting and revealing, but it nae fun when people just lump in anything they can think of and take the thread off on some irelevant and often supposedly funny distraction.
