Saturday Night Drivel

Postby Captain Brittles » Sat Jun 11, 2005 5:33 pm

I'm on my second can (Asda - £9.98 for 24 promotion) and I've got a half bottle of the low flying burd as a further companion so its just possible there might be a wee bit of it from me. Terrible when you can't get out, a sad life indeed.

Apologies in advance to the membership.............

Only saw it on Tennents Foss. Basically they're coming down to Tesco's price.

Ah, just locking up the theatre and heading home myself, suspect it'll be a night of the kerry-oot myself - can't make up my mind on beer or wine, though, should I go halfers and get 6 cans and a bottle of plonk??

I'll mull it over as I take the mutt round Newton Farm for a dander...

Well, then. Now. I'll begin at the beginnin'. A fine soft day in the spring, it was, when the train pulled into Castletown, three hours late as usual, and himself got off. He didn't have the look of an American tourist at all about him. Not a camera on him; what was worse, not even a fishin' rod.

Nae need fur drivel oan a Setturdy night Cappy, dig oot the DVD.

I was indeed on Stage Door last night with an erstwhile colleague, why you ask??

Beer and wine mix perfectly I find, you can see that clearly when your stomach chooses to eject it for a second look....

Ah, hang on a mo, CatsMother, having just checked the link on your profile, your name rings bells as having been on an envelope with tickets left for you by a certain member of wardrobe! Was that you??

As for Irn-Bru, always was a Tizer man myself, although getting hold of the diet version is akin to finding anyone sober in the Gordon St taxi queue on a Saturday night... Gimme a bottle of Robertsons of Springwell's red cola anyday! Wonder if Blantyre's finest manufacturer of ginger is still in business??

As for crisps, whatever happened to Tudor??
