What song are you listening to?

Postby purplegrum » Thu Dec 02, 2004 11:25 pm

This is a thread that really took off on another forum that I frequent, so let's see how it goes here.

Idea's simple: most of us listen to music while we're at the PC, so post the song you're listening to and we can get an idea of what kind of music we all like, maybe even discover some new artists for our collections!

I'll go first:

Right now, I'm listening to:

It's About You by Train, from the album "Drops of Jupiter"

Candy Says by The Velvet Underground, from the album The Velvet Underground

Swiftly followed on random play by

Simple Pages by Weezer, from the green album.

Must find some cheerier stuff........

*checks playlist*

Nope.

Pretty Deep by Tanya Donelly, from the album Lovesongs for underdogs.

Oh well. :D

Right now I'm listening to the insane babble of the idiot women who work in my office, who seem the think the world will be fascinated to hear about their cats or their husbands operation.

I want to kill myself.

Now look, I don't want you to conclude that this is in anyway representative of my general taste in music but:

THE NEW GIRLS ALOUD ALBUM IS FANTASTIC!

Pop don't come no shinier! :D
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is generally adopted.

Oh, you've just invalidated the post in another thread about your opinion usually being the right one. Dear oh dear....

Actually, what would I know? I still kind of like Kingmaker.....

However, in noting that my opinion was generally the correct one I was merely stating an opinion, therefore undermining the initial premise.
