"Electric Music for the Mind and Body" by Country Joe and the Fish. I first heard this on Peel's show and met my life-long friend Fred when I saw him posing with a copy in school.
I saw them play at the Ferry a few years ago and went along thinking that they'd be a bunch of old men - they were - but even without dope I got stoned listening to them that night. Their first song was dedicated to Peel, who had just died.

Le durachd,

Eddy

A whole archive of soul stars at The Olympia, Paris has been stuck up on youtube. Otis 1966, Motown stars in the seventies, James Brown, Ray Charles from 1961.

Here’s Jr. Walker and the All Stars

"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

"I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" by Baby Charles. A great modern funk cover of the Arctic Monkeys.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y23X8Vihw0
What do you do for recreation?
Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback.
