Ultrafox - Quintette du Hot Club de France. Django remains a wonder, and Grappelli was a gift from the gods...

Where is it? I love the birdsong of spring especially. In the wild it is a 3D soundscape joy to listen to.
I have a couple of CDs given away free with the Independent , but they are disappointing being a roll-call of birds , one after the other , rather than a recording of multiple birds in the wild.

I also have a BBC sound effects CD of bird calls, which is a bit better. The Blackbird track sends one of my cats a bit daft :o

Stick your radio onto autoscan and it should pick it up, this is provided you have a DAB radio. I think this stemmed from a channel folding...can't remember which.

It's like lying back in a field with your eyes shut but without the hassle of ticks and shite.

It sounds to me like the track they use to blot out the Big Brother audio feed.

Antmusic - Adam and the Ants. Underrated band if you ask me.

Another download of soul and motown for your MP3 player

Postby Dexter St. Clair » Mon Jun 02, 2008 8:38 pm

This was recorded straight off the decks at Blackfriars and as it was Amateur night out Friday 15th December there are fewer obscure soul tunes. There is a full playlist to accompany the "choons".
