Another reformat.

Postby kn0wledge » Sun Sep 19, 2004 12:33 pm

So I'm about to reformat my computer for the Nth time in three days.

So far I've done:

Windows 2000 > Debian Linux > Freebsd 5.3-RELEASE > Windows XP Professional

And now I'm about to go back to Windows 2000. I think my pile of shit box is on its last legs. :<

It's at times like this when I wish I still had my old SparcStation.
Eat a ham for Jesus.

Supporting over 300 of them, I can attest to the contrary.

And when they DO let you down - parts are exorbitant.

Sorry!!

Well, they will let you down sometimes - they're like any computer, but IMHO they do it less often and are easier to fix when they do. I've been using/repairing them since I was a kid and I much prefer to work on fixing someone's Mac than their PeeCee.

Ha anyway, let's no get into another Mac/PC debate. What's the weather like there BTW? I'm sitting by the pool with my jack and coke thinking about you all :P

Anyone know if kn0wledge made it back from his last reformat? Is he away, or just offline? If someone has non-internet contact details for him could you let him know the Panopticon tour is on the 13th at 7pm. I need to know if he's coming or if I can offer his place to someone else.

What an odd thing to do , never mind derive pleasure from it.
