You wonder why the DVD isn't pausing, and realise you've been using the remote for the telly, rather than the one for the DVD player.

Yep, looking forward to Valentines Day and Easter stuff in the shops, given that I can't find anything now with all of the Xmas shite everywhere.
Off to my wee bit of Scotland in the middle of a national park in Central France in a couple of weeks for a couple of months - retirement does this too you - to talk to the coos, cut down some trees and ignore the festive season.
